At one time in our life, Many of us are going to be there. Either ourselves or our partner will get pregnant. For a lot of us that will be a good thing and an exciting time. However, it has to be said, pregnancy isn’t always great for sex. Not only will the woman feel tired, as things get further along, there is an ever-increasing bump that gets in the way.
So, what are the best sexual positions for when a woman is pregnant? Well, here are five of them, coupled with some pictures to make it even easier for you.
Well, without further ado, here goes.
1) Side by Side, at an Angle
You should both lie on your side, whilst your bodies create a V-shape. The woman should wedge a pillow under her back for support as she faces her partner, and rest both legs over his hip. This position allows the guy to keep most of his weight off her belly.
2) Woman on Top
This is a good one. This is because there is no weight on the woman’s stomach. She also gets to go at her own pace.
3) Doggystyle
This one makes sense. As you go at the woman from behind, the belly isn’t in any form of contact with the guy. Therefore you can have fun without it ever becoming uncomfortable.
4) Spooning
The woman should lie with her partner facing her back and entering from behind. Pillows are handy for extra support as the pregnancy progresses.
One of the good parts about this position is that penetration is a lot more shallow. As the pregnancy goes along, deep penetration can become more and more uncomfortable, so this is a way around that.
5) Edge of the Bed
The woman should shift bottom to the side or foot of the bed and then lie back with her knees bent. After the first trimester, she should wedge a pillow under one side so she isn’t completely flat on her back.
Depending on the size of the bed, the guy can kneel down or stand up. What is important is that the woman is comfy.
So there we go. There is no need for your sex life to come to a crashing halt during pregnancy. Yes, there may be a slight tail off, but if you can make pregnant sex comfortable, it can certainly be satisfactory at worst.
We hope that was useful for you all.
